Pataias Lagoon

The Pataias lagoon is located in one of the main migratory points of water birds that cross mainland Portugal, offering them rest, shelter and food.

But this place does not live only with wild ducks and some spectacular migratory birds, and there are also many varieties of fish under its waters, such as Carps. In addition to the observatory, you have a walkway around the lagoon to observe it from different angles and take beautiful pictures.

For total relaxation, and if you do not forget the basket at home, you can enjoy the picnic area provided with excellent conditions for meals and socializing.

Integrated in the National Ecological Reserve and inserted in a pine forest environment, surrounded by a permanent calm, this is undoubtedly a place not to be missed when passing by the sides of Alcobaça!
