The Parish Church of Alfeizerão, also called the São João Baptista de Alfeizerão Church was built in the late 15th or early 16th centuries.
Having undergone improvements in the 17th century, the following century was harmful to the Parish Church of Alfeizerão since it suffered a lot of damage as a result of the Earthquake of November 1st in the year of 1755, which motivated a new intervention in the following years.
